Hello, I hope you are doing well!
First of all, thank you very much for coming here and for your attention!
We at Over Maker Studio are holding this raffle to ask for your help in keeping our work with masks alive.
Until recently, Over Maker consisted of only two people: Brienna and Thiago. Married since 2017 and fans of masks (especially Ghost) since 2012.
Over Maker started in 2018 with the dream of putting together a Ghost cover band in our country, Brazil. At that time, importing masks from abroad was not feasible for us, as we could not afford the costs. That's when we started trying to make our own masks with very little knowledge in this area.
There were several attempts from 2018 to 2020, when, after several attempts, minimally acceptable masks began to emerge. That's when, after showing them to some friends, they became interested in the models and started buying them... and so Mask Maker Studio was born. Little by little, an idea that was supposed to be a side project began to turn into extra income with a few masks being sold here and there. In 2022, we reached customers and friends outside Brazil for the first time and began to realize that several people really admired our work. In 2023, we achieved a dream that we never even imagined possible: we were able to support ourselves solely with the income we earned from our work with masks and other 3D printing-related jobs.
It was the best year of our lives! All this with just two people... Brienna, who responded to all your messages, and Thiago, who produced the masks one by one, paying attention to every little detail.
In 2024, we remained steadfast... There were a few setbacks, as in the life of any adult, but things continued to go very well... until 2025 arrived.
Several things started to happen in our personal lives that began to shake us psychologically, and little by little, much of what we had built began to fall apart. Orders began to be delayed, anxiety attacks, various disagreements between us... until we finally began to treat ourselves, we managed to get all the orders up to date... Everything was going well. That's when, once again, things beyond our control happened... we had to move quickly from the place where we did our work, and soon after, we got the news that we could no longer ship to the US, our main customers. We searched for weeks for alternatives that were worthwhile and didn't have a high cost, because FEDEX and DHL were eating up all our profits when it came to Impera masks... With the other versions, we would have to pay out of pocket to be able to ship (in other words, we would have to pay to be able to work), and that's when the anxiety attacks came back. The desire to give up, to follow other paths.
We began to think (and even accept) that perhaps our dream, which is to work with what we work with, was coming to an end.
And finally, on Saturday, October 13, the place we had just moved into was flooded because of a clogged sewer. We lost some important equipment, tools, and even resin that we use to make masks. This shook us up a lot and, for a moment, it was almost the last straw for us.
We explained the whole situation to several customers, and many of them encouraged us to keep going and not give up on everything we've built so far... and that's why we're here now asking for your help with this raffle!
By purchasing one or more tickets, you will be helping us to continue our work. To cover some of the losses due to the flooding and to repurchase some tools and resin, which are essential for us to deliver the quality we always deliver.
